Three staff members of the Enugu State University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Gloria Onuoha, Roseline Onwuameze and Thomas Nwigwe, have been arrested by the State Police Command after it was discovered that they had forged their employment letters, purportedly written and signed by the state Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

reports that the trio had presented letters which bore the official
letterhead of the Office of the Governor and also had the governor’s
signature.
The three suspects were reportedly employed recently as accountant on Grade 11, Level 7, Higher Executive Officer Level 8 and chief typist on CONTISS 8, Step 13, respectively.
Confirming the arrest of the trio, the State Police spokesperson, DSP Ebere Amaraizu, disclosed that the facilitator of the forged letters, Chijioke Nzegwu, was on the run but that an intensive manhunt has been mounted with a view to bringing him to justice.

The
employment scam was uncovered after some employees of the hospital, who
were suspicious of irregularities in the appointment of the new
workers, raised the alarm and after an intensive internal
investigations, the suspects were arrested.
